The tale of The Last Birthday...

Years ago, a group of friends gathered at the hotel to celebrate a birthday. They spent the evening in one of the private dining rooms, where champagne flowed freely, music played late into the night, and a large cake waited at the center of the table.

Just before midnight, the lights suddenly went out.

The room fell completely dark, and in the confusion, the guests heard a chair scrape sharply across the floor. Someone laughed nervously, followed by a loud crash from the far end of the room.

When the lights came back on, one of the guests was gone.

His coat and belongings were still in the room, but no one could remember seeing him leave. The hotel searched the building and grounds, but he was never found.

Years later, guests began hearing music from the same room on the night of that birthday. Those who have opened the door say the party is still taking place, with the same guests gathered around the table, their glasses raised and the candles glowing on the cake.

Then, just before midnight, the lights go out.

In the darkness, a chair scrapes across the floor.

When the lights return, the guests are gone.

Only the birthday cake remains, with one candle still burning.
