The tale of the Honeymoon Suite...
Many years ago, a newlywed couple spent their wedding night in the hotel’s honeymoon suite.
According to the story, the couple returned to their room shortly after midnight. The night clerk remembered seeing the groom carry a bottle of champagne upstairs, and the two were heard laughing as they closed the door behind them.
By morning, the suite was empty.
Their luggage was still packed. The bride’s bouquet rested on the dresser, and two champagne glasses sat untouched beside the bed. The hotel searched the grounds and contacted the police, but neither of them was ever found.
Years later, guests began reporting strange occurrences in the suite. Some claimed to hear quiet laughter from inside the room late at night. Others said they had awakened to the sound of two people whispering just beyond the bedroom door.
And every so often, a guest would wake to find a single fresh rose resting on the pillow beside them.
