The Glowing Mushrooms

Texture: microsequin x bubble sequin swirl

Scent: Cranberry- Apple Preserves

You slip the locket in your coat
and turn to press ahead,
where clusters of strange mushrooms rise
along the forest bed.

They pulse with eerie, neon blues
and greens that shouldn't grow,
and paint a strange, unsettling hue
across the path below.
