The tale of the Forgotten Room...

There is an old legend among the hotel staff about a room that was never meant to be found.

According to the story, the room was once part of the original hotel, but sometime after the building was expanded, it was sealed off and forgotten. The entrance was hidden behind a tall wooden bookshelf in a quiet corner of the third floor, and over the years, the story of what lay behind it faded into hotel lore.

Then, one evening, a housekeeper noticed that several of the books on the shelf had been disturbed.

When she reached to straighten them, the entire bookcase shifted beneath her hand.

Behind it was a narrow doorway.

The room beyond looked as though someone had simply walked out and closed the door behind them. Dust covered the furniture, but everything else was strangely untouched: a neatly made bed, an old suitcase resting beside it, and a single lamp on the bedside table was still glowing softly.

The housekeeper immediately ran to get the manager.

By the time they returned, the bookshelf had moved back into place.

They searched the wall behind it but found no doorway, no hinges, and no explanation for what she had seen.

The room has never been found again.

But every so often, a housekeeper will notice that the same few books have been pulled slightly forward from the shelf.
